French: Which would be said by father to daughter: merci, ma belle fille or merci, mon belle fille?

or something else?French: Which would be said by father to daughter: merci, ma belle fille or merci, mon belle fille? It would be ma belle fille - the ma has to agree with the object of the sentence, not the subject, and in this case the object is feminineFrench: Which would be said by father to daughter: merci, ma belle fille or merci, mon belle fille?
Oh God (I see the other answers and I weep, loool)

It would be "Merci ma belle" or else "Merci ma fille" or else "Merci ma toute belle" etc etc but never "ma belle fille" because there's a possible confusion with "daughter-in-law" = "belle-fille"French: Which would be said by father to daughter: merci, ma belle fille or merci, mon belle fille?ma belle fille: "mon belle fille" is not a possible combination in French.French: Which would be said by father to daughter: merci, ma belle fille or merci, mon belle fille?
It is 'ma' not 'mon'. Mon indicates that he is talking about a guy fille is feminine so it must be ma.French: Which would be said by father to daughter: merci, ma belle fille or merci, mon belle fille?merci ma belle fille...the other is gramatically incorrect.French: Which would be said by father to daughter: merci, ma belle fille or merci, mon belle fille?
